Hi there!

I'm a writer (fiction novels AND cookbooks), a proud Marine wife, mom of three, and award-winning baker specializing in gluten-free and plant-based recipes to fuel a healthy lifestyle.

 

I am a certified Yoga, Pilates and Barre Instructor with a certification in Sports Nutrition, so food that is nourishing for an active life is important to me. I'm obsessed with oat milk lattes and enjoy the outdoors, family time and developing new recipes in the kitchen. When I first lived in Texas in 2010, I worked at a cafe as their first baker and was given the freedom to bake whatever I wanted. This is where inventing nutritious recipes really took off--I got a kick out of making treats that were not only tasty, but healthy as well. Those years in Corpus Christi, I introduced most of my customers to "gluten-free" and "vegan" for the first time, with great feedback (and plenty of surprise!). 

My recipes blend amazing flavor and nutritious ingredients and are sure to power you through your day, whether you spend it on the trails, home with kids or in the office.
